He's sitting cross legged by the entrance engrossed in his phone by the time April shows up, Sharkbait laying nearby looking forever morose, but that's just permabulldog face.]

[A Jeff from six years ago might've considered this less than platonic, but that was before he was taught the ways of the most awkward physical contact known to man.
He doesn't interfere either way, he knows better than that.]
Look, I can be the one to record a generic 'he's not here' message, I probably owe you that much. And then we can both switch off all communication and stay in here until he gets back, because reality sucks and we shouldn't be expected to deal with it.
